As a Greenhouse Society, we like things that grow. We also like to support our members. One of those members is giving a presentation next week that we think you should know about.
Carolyn Mallory will be presenting “A Whole World at Your Feet: Common Arctic Plants” at the Nunavut Research Institute (Building 959-A) on Thursday, August 11 at 7 PM.
Hope to see you there!

Hello. Wish I could be there. I was so fascinated by the plants in bloom when I visited your city last month. Is there a good book that could help me identify the plants in my photos.
Thank you.

Hi Victoria! We’re so glad that you were able to visit Iqaluit! While I am not certain about the availability of the book, Common Plants of Nunavut was co-authored by Carolyn Mallory. There are likely images of the plants you’ve seen within it.
