Greenhouse

Unnusakkut!

Please join us this Saturday from 1 p.m. until 4 p.m. for an afternoon cleaning the grounds and organizing lots of materials for this years growing season! We have lots of manual labour we need help with, so bring gloves, a motivated attitude and a bottle of water!

We have lots of exciting things planned for this year, but before we roll out new and exciting ways you can get involved in building a more food secure Iqaluit (& Nunavut) – we need to start from scratch and get things in tip-top shape! Looking forward to seeing you all there!

It’s almost time for our Annual General Meeting! As previously announced, we will be holding our AGM on Saturday, April 29, from 11 AM to 1 PM. The location will be the boardroom of the Nunavut Research Institute, building 959.

We have completed significant work on the greenhouse in the last year, and will have some brand new technology for growing this upcoming season, so please come out to find out what we’ll be up to. We’re planning for an exciting year!

An election will also be held to elect our Board of Directors for 2017/18. If you are interested in joining the Board, please let us know. You can find out about how to become a member as well.
