We’re back this week for some good old fashioned trivia fun. Come out to the Storehouse on Tuesday at 7:30 PM. Teams of up to five people can challenge for prizes and the right to say you’re a trivia star. All donations go to the Iqaluit Community Greenhouse Society.

Get your thinking caps on, because the Iqaluit Community Greenhouse Society will be hosting its Trivia Night on Tuesday, June 28 at 7:30 at the Storehouse Bar & Grill. Come out for good food and have a good time supporting a good cause. See you next week!

Our Annual General Meeting was held on Saturday, and we have elected a new Board of Directors. Thank you to everyone who came out and participated. This society exists because of dedicated volunteers and we are pleased to see so many willing to help.

We will be updating our Board information following our first official meeting of the Directors.

Interested in what was discussed at the AGM? Have a look at Thomas Rohner’s feature in Nunatsiaq News. (One minor correction: trivia will be held on May 17, not May 10.)

Speaking of trivia…we’re switching venues to the Storehouse Bar & Grill. We’ll be starting at 7 PM and suggest a minimum donation of $5 to play. Come on out for Taco Tuesday on May 17th and test your knowledge of stuff!

It’s nearly that time. Our AGM will be held Saturday, April 30 from 1 – 3 PM at the board room of the Nunavut Research Institute.

We have so much going on this year – we hope you’ll be able to make it. Come out to learn about our recent business plan, funding opportunities, membership changes and chances to volunteer. We will also be looking to fill the ranks of our Board of Directors.

Hope to see you there.

It’s around this time of year when we see plenty of interest for new memberships with the greenhouse. We are expecting a few changes this year, so we will be temporarily suspending the purchase of new memberships until we hold our annual general meeting. There are a few tasks we need to complete before the meeting, so please keep an eye on this page for updates, as we hope to be announcing the date shortly.

Thanks for your interest in the Iqaluit Community Greenhouse Society! We hope to see you at our AGM!

faq-1236275-640x640We’re in the business of asking questions, what, with all the trivia night fundraisers we hold. We thought it was time to turn the tables.

Many of you ask questions that we’ve found are quite common. We have posted a number of these frequently asked questions with our answers for you. Check out our FAQs page – we’ll continue to update it when we notice something is getting enough attention to consider it “frequently asked”.

We’re back on this week for trivia night, so come out to the Kickin’ Caribou on Thursday, November 5 at 7 PM for fun and prizes. Only $5 to enter. See you there!november5trivia

We will unfortunately be postponing Trivia Night this evening. We will post an update as soon as we have a replacement date.

Thanks as always for your support and interest.
